Hi, I’m Jason Potter.

I’m an author, speaker, pastor, educator, and leader with a passion for helping people grow in faith, leadership, and purpose.

My leadership journey began when I was 17 years old and elected to the board of my local church in Canberra. Since then, I’ve spent more than three decades serving churches, ministries, leaders, and communities across Australia and internationally.

At 19, I moved to Tasmania to work with Fusion Australia before stepping into my first pastoral role at the age of 20 as a Youth Minister in Melbourne. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of pastoring local churches, serving in national and international ministry leadership roles, and contributing to the governance of a wide range of churches, ministries, and Christian organisations in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Throughout my life and ministry, I’ve been passionate about helping people discover their God-given purpose and equipping them to make a meaningful difference in the world around them. Whether through preaching, teaching, mentoring, writing, leadership development, or education, my heart has always been to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus and become effective leaders in their families, churches, workplaces, and communities.

One of the projects I’m particularly proud of has been helping develop innovative church-based education models that have been adopted by Bible colleges across Australia, creating practical pathways for training and equipping future Christian leaders.

Today, I continue to speak, write, teach, mentor, and create resources designed to help people navigate life with wisdom, faith, and confidence. Through podcasts, articles, books, speaking engagements, and conversations, my goal is simple: to help people think deeply, live faithfully, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

When I’m not speaking, writing, or spending time with church and ministry leaders, you’ll usually find me with my family. My wife, Rachelle, and I live in Canberra and are blessed with four amazing teenage children who keep life interesting and remind me daily of what’s most important.

And yes, I’m a lifelong Collingwood supporter. Nobody’s perfect.
